Mid-range smartphones are all the rage.
Many of the world’s biggest technology firms now include a mid-range device in their inventory and it’s no wonder why they are so popular.
Most offer premium specs at much lower price than a flagship and one of the latest to join the ever-growing list of cut-prices call makers is the Galaxy A8.
This new phone from Samsung will go on sale in April and offers a high level of specs in a device that looks set to be cheaper than the flagship Galaxy S8.
The A8 lands in your pocket with a stunning 5.6-inch Full HD Super AMOLED Infinity display which stretches across almost the entire front of the phone.
There’s also a fast Octa Core processor, rear fingerprint sensor, decent 3,000mAh battery - with Fast Charging - and an ergonomic curved glass and metal finish which Samsung says offers a more comfortable grip.
On the rear of the device is a single 16-megapixel camera with selfie fans treated to a dual-lens front-facing camera which will bring users the ultimate photo of their face
